Acting up!
Wednesdays, 4-5pm
$150 per term
Drama class for 10-14 year old* students.
*enquiries outside of this age range welcome
This class uses games, improvisation and devised drama to build student's confidence, creativity and performance skills. Students will create and craft character and scene work through play. They will also work on public speaking and performance skills with various pieces of text.
The aim of the course is to develop and encourage self esteem, teamwork and articulate communication from all participants.
Speech and Drama

$200 per term (exam fees additional)
These classes will follow the Trinity College London Speech and Drama syllabus, with exams available for those who wish to pursue them.
Speech and Drama lessons will help your child to develop and improve their listening, discussion and communication skills. They will improve their speech, build confidence and creativity, extend social skills and develop their talent.
*Lesson type and size of class will be decided based on enrollments.
Lessons will cover a variety of topics including:
Vocal exercises to improve voice control, resonance, tone, articulation, pace, pause, volume and inflection.
Poetry recitation
Prose recitation
Drama – both plays and excerpts from plays
Sight reading – a valuable life skill
Public speaking and speech making
Mime and improvisation
Role-play and characterisation
